Hermes API default port and example requests

Port 8642 is the chat API. Port 9119 is the dashboard.

A Hermes-style gateway keeps a chat API and a dashboard on different ports. The numbers copied from the usual notes are 8642 for the API and 9119 for the dashboard. The API is OpenAI-compatible. The model name this process reports is hermes-agent.

Chat is POST /v1/chat/completions. The model list is GET /v1/models. The dashboard status is GET /api/status on port 9119, and sessions are GET /api/sessions. The dashboard root is a short HTML page.

Neither port requires an API key on this host. A client that only needs completions should stay on 8642 and ignore the dashboard.
